President
Adrienne (Andi) L. Rieken is the driving force behind and founder of CoreRageous Dance & Movement. Since the age of 3, Adrienne has been developing her curriculum and knowledge of various art forms to one day pass on her skills and love for the arts to others. Now the dream has come true.

Adrienne is a former gymnast and an accomplished dancer and dance instructor (ballet, tap, jazz and modern). Her gymnastic and dance training began in 1976 (age 3) and she became a dance instructor in 1986 (age 13). Subsequently, Andi earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance in 1997 from the University of Arizona and continued to teach dance classes through 2003 before she began her pursuit of certification as a Pilates Instructor. Since 2003 she has received her "Power Pilates" beginner and intermediate mat certification and 600 hours Comprehensive Apparatus Certification. As a result of her extensive participation in gymnastics, dance, and Pilates, Ms. Rieken has gained an extensive knowledge of physiology and how the body moves.

In Okinawa, Japan, Ms. Rieken was the artistic director, senior instructor and owner of a dance studio known as the "Pacific Island Dancers". The studio consisted of 120 students of various ages and levels of dancing experience. As is the case of CoreRageous Dance & Movement, her family assisted Ms. Rieken with the production of "Pacific Island Dancers" recitals and running the studio.

Ms. Rieken is also a recent graduate of The Women's Entrepreneurs of Baltimore (WEB) business training program. Participating in the WEB program is a rare and wonderful opportunity that allows for entrepreneurs to start or further develop their vision for a business. The program begins by reviewing applications submitted. Out of all the applications, 200 to 300 people are asked to interview. Following the interview, WEB hand picks approximately 25-40 people for two separate programs. Ms. Rieken was selected for what is known as the "Executive Group", which consisted of three months of classes to develop in-depth business plans and to prepare to open their businesses within nine months of finishing the program. For three months, Ms. Rieken and her classmates studied their industries in depth, spent many hours studying outside of the classroom, and received countless lectures from attorneys, financial advisors, chamber advisors, and others knowledgeable about what it takes to develop and run a successful small business. The WEB program set the business foundation for Ms. Rieken and helped to shape her work ethics as a business owner and entrepreneur.
